ABOUT UPWARD SPORTS

Upward Sports Programs offer a variety of opportunities for young athletes to discover and refine their athletic skills while cultivating a passion for the sport. Through age-appropriate team play, athletes begin to build positive character traits that will allow them to encourage, strengthen, and motivate themselves and their fellow teammates. As they learn and follow game rules, young athletes will also learn the value of sportsmanship with a healthy competitive spirit.

 

New Life Church offers students K5-8th grade Flag Football with Cheerleading in the Fall and Basketball in the winter as part of the Upward ministry. Upward volunteers are our church members and members of our community who come from all walks of life and are involved by praying for the program, coaching a team, refereeing a game, or sharing a devotion.
