A new church can be intimidating...
We know. We've all been there before. We've designed this page to help you prepare for your first (or second) visit to New Life Church. We want you to know EXACTLY what to expect. On a 'typical' Sunday at NLC, you'll find many different kinds of people on different parts of their faith journey. In fact, we are certain that there will be many other newcomers just like you. Whether you're new to church and faith, or a longtime Jesus-follower, you're welcome here and we have a place for you.
What is a service like?
Our services typically last about 70 minutes.

- Our services begin with a greeting from our pastor followed by an opening song of worship. The words for all of our songs will be projected onto a large screen. Many in the service will sing along and you can too. Participate as you feel comfortable. We use music as a way of expressing our love to God and our appreciation for what He has done for us.
- There will be a few times during the service where on of our church leaders will pray during the service. You might be asked to sit or to stand up during those times of prayer. We will always make sure you know exactly what to do and we won't leave you guessing.

- One of our pastors will teach a lesson from the Bible. Our goal is to help everyone understand the Bible and to apply it to their lives. The teaching will be practical and challenging, and hopefully will inspire you in your personal pursuit of God.

- Near the beginning of the service, on of our members will share a Bible verse and example of how God has been able to minister to them in their life and we will collect an offering from the congregation. Please feel free to participate or not. We do not expect our guests to give a tithe or offering unless you would like to.
